An economist at heart, I can recognize and understand the intricacies of policy that others may miss. I've lead coral surveys in the Indo-Pacific, written a policy brief on commercial fishing license pricing for an international audience, conducted original research on global response strategies to climate refugees, and worked as a policy advocate both domestically and abroad.
